Xtabi is truly a magical place, with an idyllic setting and warm, welcoming people. The food and snorkeling were excellent, but my experience with the room left much to be desired. Cleanliness and comfort were lacking in the accommodations, and my stay was marred by maintenance issues that shouldn't have been overlooked. While the dining experience was a highlight, the value for the rooms can't be justified when compared to other options nearby.
